If you read my post titled ‘Are You Unknowingly Poisoning Yourself?’, you were reminded than the skin is the largest organ we have. You also learned the skin is very absorbent and more than half of what is applied to the surface of the skin can be absorbed into the blood stream.

This rate of absorbency is why patches with medicine can be so effective. It is also why we need to think about the ingredients in the sun screens, shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, cosmetics and lotions we apply to our body.

Imagine living a life where you ate healthy and exercised religiously but still ended up with an ailment that might have been prevented if you’d used an all natural shampoo/conditioner. Been aware of the ingredients in your cosmetics, nail polish, sun screen and cleaners you regularly came in contact with or used.
